		Our Sales Department, with over 240 years of  technical  experience, stands ready to assist you!   Vic Schneider CIPE, joined Al Sterling in 1965 and is our Chief Operating Officer.   Vic started in the plumbing industry working part time for Grinnell Corporation after high school.  He  joined AmStan Supply and worked his way up and  became branch manager of AmStan Supply in Houston.  He met Albert Sterling and the partnership began over 45 years ago.  He received his certification in plumbing engineering from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers in 1994. Vic is a charter member of the Houston Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. Vic  is the proud father of 11 children and numerous grandkids. Our founder Albert Sterling, Jr received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University. He then entered the United States Navy where he served as a Lieutenant refitting ships during the war from 1941 to 1945. Al started the company in 1947 working out of one office and representing one line. One of Al’s first tasks was convincing plumbing design engineers that wall hung water closets were the proper fixtures for commercial buildings. This was a totally new concept at the time. It was during this time that plumbing engineers in Houston started to rely on the integrity and expertise of Al Sterling. Al continues to inspire our employees to this day with his high moral standards and impeccable integrity.Albert is  a charter member of the Houston American Society of Plumbing Engineers Chapter.    Stephen Schneider, CPD, joined Albert Sterling & Associates in 1980 when he opened the San Antonio office. Prior to joining the company, Stephen worked for Morrison Plumbing Supply Company. Stephen graduated from  Texas State University (SWT) in 1978 with a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice. He is a charter member of the Central Texas ASPE Chapter. He received his certification in plumbing engineering (CPD)  from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers in 1996.  Stephen is currently the Vice President of Albert Sterling & Associates, manages the San Antonio office and a previous director for the Mechanical Contractor Association of San Antonio.  He is a gradate of both the San Antonio Police Dept.'s  and the FBI's citizens academies.  Since 1996, he has been a Bexar County appointee to Bexar-Metro 9-1-1 District. A recent Construction News article on Stephen.   Jim Ivey joined Albert Sterling & Associates in 1977.  Prior to joining the Houston office, Jim began his career in commercial plumbing with Economy Plumbing Supply in 1963 as the city counterman.  From 1965 until 1976, Jim worked for Plumbing Supply Co. as inventory control clerk,  quotations and outside sales.  In 1976 he joined Gulf and Basco Plumbing Supply to start up the commercial plumbing division.  Jim is currently in outside sales for the Houston office and also the news editor for the Houston ASPE chapter.   Forrest E. Maynard joined the Dallas office of Albert Sterling & Associates in 1988. Before working for the company, Forrest managed sales efforts for various companies. Forrest obtained a bachelor of arts degree in Business Administration from Central State University in Oklahoma in 1970.  Forrest is an active member of the Dallas ASPE Chapter.   Mike Schuller has been with Albert Sterling & Associates since 1989.  He handles outside  sales and prides himself in customer service for the wholesalers and contractors.  Mike is our outside contact  for our product lines.  Mike is a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and an active member of ASPE. Victor Schneider Jr. joined the team of Albert Sterling & Associates in the spring of 1996.  Vic Jr. handles inside sales  and customer assistance for any of our manufactures.  Prior to joining Albert Sterling & Associates, Vic Jr. majored in Business Management at a Houston area college.  He is also an active member in the Houston chapter of The American Society of Plumbing Engineers and is the current social director.   Vic Jr. enjoys working with our customers and helping them with different field situations, questions and applications.   Beverly Allen joined our company September 1989.  Before joining our company, she was in the property management business. Beverly is our professional secretary and she is the part of our team that keeps the office flowing.  Beverly will be happy  to assist you with any questions regarding your account. Chris White  handles are warehouse and  is active in the Houston ASPE chapter.    Chris is our "go to man", for glass pipe orders and Acorn  repair parts.
