Surgical Scrub Sinks
Full Size Scrub Sinks - SS-1, SS-2, SS-3
|
Whitehall's
Full Size Scrub Sink fixtures are designed for durability and
easy accessibility. Available in either On-floor or Off-floor
models, these products are manufactured from heavy gage, Type
304, stainless steel. Seamless welded construction
minimizes the surface areas where bacteria can collect. The
sink is built with a sloping bottom surface to control
splashing. The unit is provided with a gooseneck faucet and a
sprayhead that can be removed for sterilization. The water
supply valve is activated by one push of a knee-operated front
panel and turned off by a second push. In addition, the scrub
sink can be completely hands-free with the sensor operated
option.
The cabinet itself has easily removable panels which allow for
access to the valves - including the anti-scald mixing valve,
the soap system, waste connections, stops and strainers.
So, specify Whitehall. It's a superior sink. |

* Mounting
A Mounting Carrier (-MC) must be selected
if the Scrub-Sink is to be mounted off the floor. This facilitates
cleaning of the floor beneath the fixture, aiding in the creation of a
sanitary environment. The carrier provides the necessary support
for the fixture. This mounting would be appropriate for wall rough-in
installations.
A Pedestal Base (-PB) should be specified
if the Scrub-Sink is an on-floor model. This sturdy base provides ample
support for the product, and would be appropriate for either wall or
floor rough-in installations.
Options
A Digital Time Display (-DTD) can be added
to the control panel of your Scrub-Sink. This LED display will show both
minutes and seconds of washing time elapsed to encourage proper
scrubbing techniques.
An extremely accurate Electronic Timing Controller (-ETC)
can be specified for your Scrub-Sink. This valve controller has a
two minute rinse warning indicator and can be set for various time
intervals, a short (user adjustable), a long (10 minutes), and an abort
cycle, to ensure thorough scrubbing.
A Light Module (-LM) which houses a
fluorescent light and diffuser can be specified to provide direct
illumination of the scrubbing bay.
A Metering Liquid Soap Dispenser (-PDM) can
also be specified. A reservoir is housed within the base of the product
and liquid soap is dispensed when a knee panel on the front of the
product is depressed.
A Splash Panel (-SA) can be added between
service bays to further control splashing and cross contamination.
Although these units are standardly furnished with knee actuation for
water dispensation, Sensor Operation (-SO)
can be specified. By standing in front of the sink, the user interrupts
a continuous beam of light emitted from the electronic eye, thereby
activating the water flow. Once the user steps away from the fixture,
the water stops.
As an integral part of the backsplash, a Storage Shelf (-SS)
can be specified for your Scrub-Sink.
