Options

-FX
Hand Shower - This option provides a hand shower with a 60"
stainless steel hose and mounting bracket supplied in lieu of the
standard rigid shower head.

-G
Individual Stops - Acorn recommends the use of individual stops
for all shower systems. This feature facilitates service and allows
other units to remain in service during maintenance periods. This option
is not available on Capital Column Showers.

-GG
Unit Shutoff Valve - This option provides a bronze service
shutoff gate valve for each unit or zone. One or two valves are provided
as required by supplies.
|
|
-GX
Individual Check Stops - Acorn recommends the use of individual
check stops for all shower systems with hot and cold supplies. This
feature facilitates service and allows other units to remain in service
during maintenance. Additionally, check stops prevent cross flow of hot
and cold water supplies.

-H
Hand Volume Control - This specification provides for manual
adjustment of spray volume. It does, however, prevent positive shutoff.
|
|
-HL
Hi - Lo Mounting Brackets - Provides for two mounting locations,
one high and one low, for the handshower. The mounting clips are
provided at approximately 48" and 60" above finished floor.

-IC
3" Inside Caulk Waste - This option provides a 3" Caulk
Waste connection in lieu of the standard 3" no-hub outlet on B11,
B21, T11 or T21 Column Shower drain models.

-K
Allen Key Volume Control - This suffix option offers the same
advantages as -H Hand Volume Control, but can only be operated by a hex
key, allowing only authorized personnel to adjust spray volume.

-LD
Less Drain Slots - This option is available only with Classic and
Capital Column Showers using T21 or B21 drains. When specified, the
floor must be sloped away from the column to the drain. This option is
typically specified when an area drain is to be utilized instead of
column shower drain.

-LFS
Less Folding Seat - This option is intended for shower units when
the folding seat is not required or to be furnished by others. Note: May
affect ADA compliance.

-LGB
Less Grab Bar - This option is intended for shower units when the
grab bar is not required or to be furnished by others. Note: May affect
ADA compliance.

|
-MSH
Multi-Stream Head - The Acorn Multi-Stream Head is adjustable to
create a fine mist or coarse stream. It is ideal in areas that are not
prone to vandalism, such as hotels and athletic clubs where the user may
desire a more luxuriant shower. The Multi-Stream Head is available on
all Acorn Shower-Ware systems.

-MV
Metering Valve - Specification of this option provides for the
installation of a metering valve in the riser to the shower head. This
water saving feature is available on Acme, Apex, Zenith, and Classic
Showers.

-P
Penal Head - In applications where vandalism is a primary
concern, this shower head prevents the user from altering the spray or
removing nozzle. Spray adjustment is made through the nozzle with a hex
key.

|
-PO
Piston-Operated Safti-Trol Valve - This valve utilizes a
stainless steel piston which floats within a sealed cylinder to
compensate for pressure fluctuation.
|
|
-QD
Quick Disconnect - This option provides a male and female
stainless steel quick disconnect coupler assembly to allow for easy
removal of the hand shower, possibly for storage to prevent vandalism.
|
|
-RD
Recessed Soap Dish - This soap dish is available for all shower
styles, except Capital Column. It is constructed of heavy gage, type 304
stainless steel and is designed with air circulation dimples.
|
|
-RP
Reinforced Panel for Folding Seat - This option provides a
reinforced stainless steel privacy panel, post, 36" headrail and
vinyl curtain. Installation of this equipment allows for mounting of
folding seat opposite the shower control as required by ADA. Shower must
be positioned in a corner to utilize components. Panel is reinforced to
accept folding seat.

-SA
Splash Panels - These heavy gage stainless steel panels are less
expensive than built-up low walls, and allow a common drain to service
both sides of the shower. This option is available only for Acme
Back-to-Back Showers.

|
-SB
24" Slide Bar - This option provides a 24" slide bar
for use with -FX Hand Shower. Slide bar is shipped loose for wall
mounting.
