The UNITANK
SYSTEM is a complete system that includes the break tank,
valve and control for the fill operation, high and low level alarm
for notification of flooding or low water level in tank. The Surge
Tank, a.k.a. Break Tank, with its “air-gap” feature, protects against cross
connection and protects the water mains from negative pressure.
This “air-gap” feature is considered to be the most
“fail-safe” method to prevent back-flow.
There are four basic components of the UNITANK SYSTEM:
